RUNNINGOn my 35th birthday I decided to CHANGE. I was tired of being tired. Tired of being asked when my baby was due. Mad at myself for gaining over 50 pounds in two years. I want to be on this beautiful earth for many more years.. I want to CELEBRATE LIFE. Then something happened. The tomorrow I always say that I will start.. actually came.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
One foot in front of the other... I'll run three mail boxes then walk two.... I will run to the light post and walk. That is how this addiction started. What started as cheap exercise and a way to get healthy has become something that I love. Somedays it seem impossible. Somedays it is effortless.<br />

For years I have said this year I will run a 5k. But never in my wildest dreams would this girl be running a Quarter marathon and placing in the top half. For once in a long time I can say I AM PROUD OF MYSELF. <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today I'm going to share with you a super cute and easy gift idea.</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-E0pKzKIW7Rg/TXGxV-CNnlI/AAAAAAAAA8E/NtzYF8ZBE4c/s1600/DSC_0058.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="222" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-E0pKzKIW7Rg/TXGxV-CNnlI/AAAAAAAAA8E/NtzYF8ZBE4c/s320/DSC_0058.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Browsing Michaels armed with a 50% off coupon I found these blank photo mugs. They were $10.00 but my coupon made them $5.00. I have made a couple of trips this week :) The wheels began to turn... Then I spotted Amy Butler paper... SQUEAL!!!! Amy Butler is truly my favorite fabric designer and now this! Obviously this has been in the store a while because when I went to check out the Butler paper pack rang up $3.99! SHOCKING! I'm not a scrapbooker so I'm not familiar with paper.. But I'm familiar with the brand and know I got a smokin' deal. I right then decided that this paper was meant for this cup... Project problem solved. I came up with a Personalized Coffee/Tea mug. A couple of my girl friends have birthdays soon and they would drool over this paper... These mugs will make PERFECT gifts for them! Here is how I made them........</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9973J1KfWdI/TXGu-wQw-GI/AAAAAAAAA74/j9eEOKcCuns/s1600/DSC_0055.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-9973J1KfWdI/TXGu-wQw-GI/AAAAAAAAA74/j9eEOKcCuns/s320/DSC_0055.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First find a good quality travel mug. This one is a Michaels brand mug. It feels nice and heavy and seals up nice and tight. I'm sure you can find these at about any craft supply store.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NTivPk7K6y0/TXGwRI2yM_I/AAAAAAAAA78/s4rCK12O9GE/s1600/DSC_0056.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-NTivPk7K6y0/TXGwRI2yM_I/AAAAAAAAA78/s4rCK12O9GE/s320/DSC_0056.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Unscrew your cup and clean it. Then remove the fake family photo that was in the cup. Trace it on the back side of your paper. I use a pencil so I don't have any pen marks on my paper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-e94lbGOktKQ/TXG0yA1Wk_I/AAAAAAAAA8U/LqpfexVmAP4/s1600/DSC_0064.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-e94lbGOktKQ/TXG0yA1Wk_I/AAAAAAAAA8U/LqpfexVmAP4/s320/DSC_0064.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Slip the paper you just cut out inside the cup and make sure it fits perfect.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pXZjTaev4zw/TXGwr-7JAeI/AAAAAAAAA8A/YW1dTt-llG8/s1600/DSC_0057.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-pXZjTaev4zw/TXGwr-7JAeI/AAAAAAAAA8A/YW1dTt-llG8/s320/DSC_0057.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This mug would be pretty if I just stopped right here! But decorate and personalize it I must.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-6lPsSDx-Upw/TXGyvpnFD9I/AAAAAAAAA8I/s_-HqeTfxs4/s1600/DSC_0059.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-6lPsSDx-Upw/TXGyvpnFD9I/AAAAAAAAA8I/s_-HqeTfxs4/s320/DSC_0059.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used my Silhouette SD to cut a frame and my name from the coordinating {yes, I bought one for myself too. I love it that much} papers. If you do not have a die cut machine you can always just cut out a shape with scalloped edged scissors and use letter stickers for the name. Have you seen the stickers at Hobby Lobby? SO many possibilities. It will be just as cute, I promise!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dPiYHdJXqEc/TXGzcc9S8dI/AAAAAAAAA8M/YK77Ae4VHCo/s1600/DSC_0060.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dPiYHdJXqEc/TXGzcc9S8dI/AAAAAAAAA8M/YK77Ae4VHCo/s320/DSC_0060.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Glue your Frame and all your pieces to your main paper directly in the middle.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-53USzSNVEGs/TXG2eCjaZCI/AAAAAAAAA8c/-HD91YMkv24/s1600/DSC_0076.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-53USzSNVEGs/TXG2eCjaZCI/AAAAAAAAA8c/-HD91YMkv24/s320/DSC_0076.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LOwb9ammBik/TXG0MF5hPII/AAAAAAAAA8Q/-XvHBIcgz78/s1600/DSC_0062.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-LOwb9ammBik/TXG0MF5hPII/AAAAAAAAA8Q/-XvHBIcgz78/s320/DSC_0062.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is somewhat how your paper should look like too. Easy peasy right? Roll your paper back up inside the cup, slip the cup back together and screw it together tight like Popeye the Sailorman and ENJOY! I'm making a few other little things to go along with the cups but I'm really excited about giving these away to my girls!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-hkZejT5JZ0A/TXG1noSmKMI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/NfYbajIymxY/s1600/DSC_0065.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-hkZejT5JZ0A/TXG1noSmKMI/AAAAAAAAA8Y/NfYbajIymxY/s320/DSC_0065.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>

<br />
I'm going to share with you how to make these beautiful Chalkboard Personalized Easter Buckets. The cool thing about these is that they can be used long after easter. Just turn the rabbit side around and place it on a shelf so you can use the chalkboard to label what is inside. I truly love these and think I will make a few more for storage in my daughter's room.<br />
<br />
Here is how they are made...<br />
<br />
<b><i><u>Supplies Needed:</u></i></b><br />
Metal Bucket<br />
Paint Brush<br />
Painters Tape<br />
Mod Podge, Matte<br />
Scrap Book Paper<br />
Fine Sand Paper<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XhnB-ojmQzY/TXqziwopr4I/AAAAAAAAA_8/P8dSLbGzKuU/s1600/DSC_0005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XhnB-ojmQzY/TXqziwopr4I/AAAAAAAAA_8/P8dSLbGzKuU/s320/DSC_0005.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I found these metal buckets at Hobby Lobby for 50% off. Most craft stores sell metal buckets unpainted. {If yours is unpainted you can just spray paint it the color of your chioce.}</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-tkgOOWx319s/TXq0h7zVsMI/AAAAAAAABAI/YSx1b8uJd2M/s1600/DSC_0010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-tkgOOWx319s/TXq0h7zVsMI/AAAAAAAABAI/YSx1b8uJd2M/s320/DSC_0010.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
First you need to prep your bucket for the Chalkboard paint. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dasznHps208/TXqz2o5Uq_I/AAAAAAAABAA/TfTN8jYqOxU/s1600/DSC_0007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-dasznHps208/TXqz2o5Uq_I/AAAAAAAABAA/TfTN8jYqOxU/s320/DSC_0007.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Tape off a rectangle with your painters tape. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used the sticker decal that came on the bucket as my guide to tape off the area for the chalk board. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-R9qrrDeMDGw/TXq0I03e5UI/AAAAAAAABAE/epeov4w81Eo/s1600/DSC_0009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-R9qrrDeMDGw/TXq0I03e5UI/AAAAAAAABAE/epeov4w81Eo/s320/DSC_0009.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Lightly sand your area so the paint will adhere . Dust off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9buTrQMs_do/TXq01wu2GkI/AAAAAAAABAM/2T5EEuKBbIQ/s1600/DSC_0011.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-9buTrQMs_do/TXq01wu2GkI/AAAAAAAABAM/2T5EEuKBbIQ/s320/DSC_0011.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Apply as many coats of the paint as needed to cover the area completely...It took me 5!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LfFUO19GntQ/TXq1KE4LmXI/AAAAAAAABAQ/d3pTt41HVco/s1600/DSC_0012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LfFUO19GntQ/TXq1KE4LmXI/AAAAAAAABAQ/d3pTt41HVco/s320/DSC_0012.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Time to make your Rabbit.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Cut out an oval and a rabbit silhouette.<a href="http://all-free-download.com/free-vector/vector-clip-art/rabbit_silhouette_56315.html"> Here </a>is the rabbit silhouette I used. It is a free download.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the name you can cut it with your die cutter or add letter stickers. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SQdojj42zZ0/TXq1yt3SHYI/AAAAAAAABAY/xKet14JOoyU/s1600/DSC_0025.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SQdojj42zZ0/TXq1yt3SHYI/AAAAAAAABAY/xKet14JOoyU/s320/DSC_0025.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Start Mod Podging the decal together. Mod Podge rabbit to oval then Mod Podge name to the Rabbit again, Mod Podge over the entire decal now to seal it all together. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-x3H4jBpzMWQ/TXq2HdkecPI/AAAAAAAABAc/T1NMj8khTak/s1600/DSC_0026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-x3H4jBpzMWQ/TXq2HdkecPI/AAAAAAAABAc/T1NMj8khTak/s320/DSC_0026.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then, add a layer of Mod Podge to the bucket. It is okay that the Mod Podge is not perfect. It cleans off easily with a damp rag. {How many times can I say Mod Podge??}</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-AXHYavwSY4I/TXq2cdK1xrI/AAAAAAAABAg/7ELtq4RvtKE/s1600/DSC_0027.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-AXHYavwSY4I/TXq2cdK1xrI/AAAAAAAABAg/7ELtq4RvtKE/s320/DSC_0027.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Place your decal on the bucket and smooth it out making sure it totally adheres to the bucket bubble free. Clean off any mess that is on the bucket. Let dry a few hours.</div>

<img alt="Mini Business Card Stamp - Custom 2" Business Card or Etsy Shop Stamp for business cards and shop packaging" height="256" src="https://img3.etsystatic.com/000/0/6706140/il_570xN.351887475.jpg" width="320" /></div>

Also, I found this super cute tutorial on fabric tape. How cute would it be to wrap up a necklace in a Kraft paper bag and tape it closed with this! So going to give it a go. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Georgia, Utopia, 'Palatino Linotype', Palatino, serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_aCDLdxE2XKY/TAxJvVVIpAI/AAAAAAAAFqI/spY3QG0wzec/s1600/IMG_9488.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="color: black; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-decoration: underline;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_aCDLdxE2XKY/TAxJvVVIpAI/AAAAAAAAFqI/spY3QG0wzec/s320/IMG_9488.jpg" style="border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-left-style: solid; border-left-width: 0px; border-right-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-right-style: solid; border-right-width: 0px; border-top-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-top-style: solid; border-top-width: 0px; padding-bottom: 4px; padding-left: 4px; padding-right: 4px; padding-top: 4px;" /></a></span></div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
On Christmas Eve our Elf (Elfis) is going to fly back to the North Pole for his final report to Santa. When the kids tell him goodbye for the last time, our elf will have a special clue scavenger hunt game for them to play. At the end of the game there is a special gift that he has left behind for them. My husband will handwrite each of the clues on Official North Pole note cards and place them in envelopes. I will hide all the clues and then the fun begins. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<u><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;">Elf on the Shelf Christmas Clue Eve Scavenger Hunt</span></u></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
Clue #1<br />
Tonight I'm heading back to the North Pole. But before I go, a special present is yours to find. Jump up now! Move your behind! Yes it's the truth....You don’t have to go far. Just go to the place where we park our car. <br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #2<br />
Oh this game is so fun..Is it one of your wishes?....Just go look where Mom cleans the dirty dishes (this would be in sink) <br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #3<br />
Very good, moving right along....but to get the next clue you'll have to sing a fun Christmas song. How about a song about a reindeer? (after they sing hand them the next clue)<br />
<br />
Clue #4<br />
What a nice song....Run, run, run as fast as you can to the place where the laundry is done. <br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #5<br />
Now for a little rhyming fun...this clue will be harder...but it doesn't take a key or locks...I've hidden a clue in one of your _____ (socks) (this one I would plant the clue in a sock in their sock drawer...so they have to dig)<br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #6<br />
Wow you're doing great! It's in the place where you keep your shoes. Please put them on to get ready for the next clue. <br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #7<br />
Hurry up now...don't move like a snail...outside you'll find your next clue where they leave the _______ (mail)<br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #8<br />
Are you having fun? Maybe upstairs or maybe down, the next one can be seen in the place where you get clean. <br />
<br />
<br />
Clue #9<br />
Twas the night before Christmas....you've searched all through the house. I hope my game is not getting too old. Go look in the place where it's really cold (the freezer. I end it in the freezer so they don't see the gift as they are clue hunting) Before I go I have to say.. I'm reporting to Santa you are on the good list to stay! Merry Christmas!<br />
<div>
<br />
Have fun!!!! I can't wait until Christmas Eve to play this with my kids!</div>

It was so easy to make these. Any plastic or glass should work. Simply cut your vinyl or buy vinyl stickers at your local craft store. (I used my Silhouette) and stick on the outside of the cup.<br />
I cant wait to fill these with Hershey Kisses and gift them away!<br />

The excited giggles with your girlfriends over the latest gazes from your favorite singer – because you KNEW that he was sending those looks to YOU.</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; color: #333333; line-height: 14px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; color: #333333; line-height: 14px; white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; color: #333333; line-height: 14px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Well I want to introduce you to McKenzie.</span> </span><br />

<br />
This quilt top took me about 3 hours to put together. Slow and steady wins the race is how I rolled on this quilt top. I loved making it so much I ordered another Jelly Roll to make one for my son!<br />
This beauty still needs to be made into a sandwich quilt, quilted and bound. I'll be sharing my learning process as I put together and make more quilts. I'm officially hooked.<br />
<br />
I used the Sherbet Pips Jelly Roll from Moda. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fabric so much.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
I love <a href="http://www.tagxedo.com/">Tagxedo</a>..</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Tagxedo is a free program where you choose your words, shapes and fonts and it creates a fun word cloud. You can enter your blog address and it will make a cloud of all the words from your site. You can easily go in and remove any words you don't want. So many options.. you can print save and share the HTML code. I did have to play around in it for a while to get the hang of everything but it was very simple. You can google "Tagxedo Tutorial" to find tons of tutorials for what ever project you have in mind!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I did a heart shape for my daughter's Room. I entered all the words I could think of that describe her. I printed my new artwork on photo paper and framed it. Instant Personalized Artwork! I'm going to start making these for gifts. My 13 year old niece will love this for her birthday. Oh, and they will make such cute teacher gifts too!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
TIPS:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<ul>
<li> To make a word bigger just type it in multiple times and to make a double word like social butterfly trpe it in using a ~ instead of a space "social~butterfly" It will become one word.</li>
<li>To skip a word go to Word/Layout Options and select the skip tab</li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />

hello </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
running with glitter readers!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i am lauryn from</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://lovenotesbylauryn.blogspot.com/"><img border="0" height="80" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RSRx29lJB50/Th3d2HdEWqI/AAAAAAAAALQ/DErTUOaRAtw/s400/lovenotesheader.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i am so excited to be here today.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
kelly is a doll for having me.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
here's a little bit about the girl behind love notes:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<b>i LOVE art.</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
dance. music. drawing. design. crafts. fashion. beauty</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i love it ALL!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i love designing wedding announcements. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
that's what got this whole thing started.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
(hence the LOVE notes)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
but then i decided to not only list things to sell, but to share my adventures with you all!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
love notes is my little online sanctuary to spread some design LOVE. and i <u>love</u> it. :)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i now focus on selling my stuff at my shop <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/luluslittleloft">lulu's little loft</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i would love for you to check the blog and/or shop out if you get the chance! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
here is a post i want to share with you that was posted on the love notes blog a little bit ago:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: large;"><b>a vinyl calendar, but with no machine!</b></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
unfortunately, i do not have a cricut or a silhouette.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
as much as i would like one, i am still a fairly newlywed... and have to save my mulah.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
but i REALLY wanted a vinyl calendar.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i looked all over, but could never found one i liked.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
so i got a 12x12 sheet of vinyl and decided to make one myself.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 21px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">all i did was divide the glass (i marked with dry erase so it wasn't permanent) into squares</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">then cut the vinyl sheet into strips. thankfully the back was gridded so it was simple to cut straight.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">i wrote the days and month with a permanent marker.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">to make the glass stay inside the frame i glued the edges with E600 glue, </span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">then added a few staples around the edges. worked pretty well!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">very easy, and very fun.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">i am very happy with it!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--ByThaP5CB0/TnvYQMzWraI/AAAAAAAAAmY/0I1ow90VZas/s1600/IMG_0815.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="521" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--ByThaP5CB0/TnvYQMzWraI/AAAAAAAAAmY/0I1ow90VZas/s640/IMG_0815.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">
<br /></div>
<br />
I've been intrigued by Mod Podge for a long time. I've had a brand new bottle sitting in the craft cabinet for at least a year, but just haven't had the occasion to break it out. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A few <strike>weeks</strike> months ago, my sister gave me a 3 deep drawer storage bin thing to use to organize some of my random craft stuff. It sat in the garage for a good while before I ever got around to digging through the pile, literally, of stuff stacked in a corner of my family room. Buried deep in the pile was a wooded letter I bought at Michael's forever ago. I'm not sure what I ever really intended to do with it, so it got filed away in one of the drawers with many other forgot crafty pieces.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Thursday was a very long day at work. Both kids were sick (strep throat...ick), the hubs took the day off work to stay home with them and chaos ensued. Friday is normally an incredibly busy day for us, this week not so much. Surprisingly, people really didn't want us to share the strep germs. I needed a break from working, so I was looking for something to do and I heard the Mod Podge calling my name...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Dja5TcfJdwI/TdBzIE2bEjI/AAAAAAAAFUo/qJ1XZ8wWSqc/s1600/Mod+Podge+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="191" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Dja5TcfJdwI/TdBzIE2bEjI/AAAAAAAAFUo/qJ1XZ8wWSqc/s320/Mod+Podge+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It was a pretty easy project, a little time consuming (drying) and a little messy (cleans up easy with water though). I started by tracing the letter on a sheet of scrapbooking paper (front of the letter to the back of the paper) and using an X-Acto knife to cut it out.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1j5xoSfOKe4/TdBzbSGxk3I/AAAAAAAAFUs/mkdroK_xtiE/s1600/Mod+Podge+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="232" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1j5xoSfOKe4/TdBzbSGxk3I/AAAAAAAAFUs/mkdroK_xtiE/s320/Mod+Podge+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FIP99_gSMm0/TdBzrQJbNKI/AAAAAAAAFUw/gur4kBvZ9z4/s1600/Mod+Podge+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FIP99_gSMm0/TdBzrQJbNKI/AAAAAAAAFUw/gur4kBvZ9z4/s320/Mod+Podge+3.jpg" width="279" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The reason you trace on the back side of the paper is so that you don't end up with any pencil lines on the front. It was easier to rotate the paper through the curves than to try to rotate the knife. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m4_Mm3zJAko/TdB0CmjsrsI/AAAAAAAAFU0/sQTPohNZ7f4/s1600/Mod+Podge+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m4_Mm3zJAko/TdB0CmjsrsI/AAAAAAAAFU0/sQTPohNZ7f4/s320/Mod+Podge+4.jpg" width="273" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next I cut strips of the paper the same width as the letter.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XAthPnoSf-E/TdB0mCMH_oI/AAAAAAAAFU4/Xv_nw8VoN7E/s1600/Mod+Podge+5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XAthPnoSf-E/TdB0mCMH_oI/AAAAAAAAFU4/Xv_nw8VoN7E/s320/Mod+Podge+5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mod Podge looks a lot like Elmer's Glue, so it's not super easy to see how thick you are putting the Mod Podge on, so I try not to put much on my brush at once. So, starting with a little Mod Podge I painted over the edge of the letter and attached the strips I cut for the edge, working carefully to make sure it was straight and without air bubbles. Overlap the strips a little at the end just to make sure you have good coverage, then add a thin layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper. You may want to do one strip at a time and let it dry a little in between.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Rv5-RXcdy-M/TdB06DlgG8I/AAAAAAAAFU8/97nz0Z4o94U/s1600/Mod+Podge+6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Rv5-RXcdy-M/TdB06DlgG8I/AAAAAAAAFU8/97nz0Z4o94U/s320/Mod+Podge+6.jpg" width="235" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2q7hkoKO8Ho/TdB1Fv4bxpI/AAAAAAAAFVA/PrJypnkPYKU/s1600/Mod+Podge+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2q7hkoKO8Ho/TdB1Fv4bxpI/AAAAAAAAFVA/PrJypnkPYKU/s320/Mod+Podge+7.jpg" width="221" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once the edges were covered and everything dried, I added a thin layer of Mod Podge over the front of the letter and added the cut out I traced. Same process as above... Mod Podge, paper, more Mod Podge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CNiyTEDGxdE/TdB1f1NeHUI/AAAAAAAAFVE/qj3vhJmdc1M/s1600/Mod+Podge+8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-CNiyTEDGxdE/TdB1f1NeHUI/AAAAAAAAFVE/qj3vhJmdc1M/s320/Mod+Podge+8.jpg" width="229" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZR-FMqh1ZLk/TdB1yvN5FPI/AAAAAAAAFVI/C_OnO39GBqc/s1600/Mod+Podge+9.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="279" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ZR-FMqh1ZLk/TdB1yvN5FPI/AAAAAAAAFVI/C_OnO39GBqc/s320/Mod+Podge+9.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I added one more layer of Mod Podge, just to smooth out the surface a little...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3nPsqTBMudU/TdB2DwhQSEI/AAAAAAAAFVM/LH84Oa_a09g/s1600/Mod+Podge+10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="388" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3nPsqTBMudU/TdB2DwhQSEI/AAAAAAAAFVM/LH84Oa_a09g/s400/Mod+Podge+10.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm really happy with the finished project and I'm pretty sure I'm going to hang it beside my desk so I can look at it every day :-)</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love this!! Thank you so much for sharing with us today!!!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am so excited to be over here at <i><b>Running With Glitter</b></i></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A little about me: I originally started my blog to help promote my etsy<br />
shop, but it soon turned into a creative outlet for me! When I was pregnant<br />
with my daughter I just all the sudden became what my mom likes to call me -<br />
<i>suzy homemaker</i> : ) I guess having a girl I wanted to be able to teach<br />
her how to sew and crochet... but first I had to teach myself! Sew I did<br />
just that, and I have truly found a passion for sewing, crocheting,<br />
decorating, and really anything DIY! I hope you will stop by my <b><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://www.cherishedbliss.com/">blog</a></span></b><br />
to check out some of my other tutorials! I'd love to see you<br />
there!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
--------------------------- </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Today I am going to show you how to make a pintuck pillow. I loved this one<br />
from Anthropologie and had to make it.. and it inspired me to make another<br />
one too!</div>
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oYXZK8iS1hs/ThXXh4TWF4I/AAAAAAAAAa0/WfVMAMN8kZk/s1600/Anthro.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="

<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
Here is my version. I used more of a pottery barn color scheme to better fit<br />
my needs. It is made out of a white cotton blend and beige linen. My<br />
pintucking is closer together and a little thicker overall... I like mine<br />
better : ) Shh! Don't tell anyone. </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">

<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: center;">
I absolutely love this pillow!! It is a great accent! and I'm a super<br />
big fan of pintucking : ) </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
Here is how I did it. </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #741b47; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<i><u><b><span style="font-size: large;">Supplies</span></b></u></i></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
-Coordinating fabrics of your choice. Yardage depends on what size pillow<br />
you are making (you will need the size of your pillow + 1 inch. and then<br />
however much you want for your pintucking accent piece. It takes a bit of<br />
fabric for the pintucking... I just kinda winged it in the measurements.<br />
Assume you will need more cause it does go through the fabric kinda<br />
quickly. </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
-Sewing machine</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
-Matching thread</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
-Scissors</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
-Pillow insert</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
-Pins</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-large;">{Tutorial}</span></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
1. Measure your pillow, add one inch (so if your pillow is 18x18, cut 19x19)<br />
So you will need two squares for the front and back of the pillow, set these<br />
aside (I like to do all my cutting first since that is my least favorite<br />
part)</div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pthCD-MOPnA/Thuk5MDQmNI/AAAAAAAAAb4/Lhexte6v9Xw/s1600/DSC_0325.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-pthCD-MOPnA/Thuk5MDQmNI/AAAAAAAAAb4/Lhexte6v9Xw/s320/DSC_0325.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
2. cut a pieces of fabric the width of the pillow, and then length depends<br />
on how much pintucking you want to do... I think I used about 19x19 as<br />
well.You might want to add a little extra on your width cause my edges got a<br />
little crooked since I was gathering at random : ) </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
3. First we will begin the pintucking process. Your going to put your fabric<br />
right side down, and fold up little creases and sew them down. </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Gs6smWi_J1Q/ThulGYrKZnI/AAAAAAAAAb8/pC0EBqg1Mns/s1600/DSC_0334.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Gs6smWi_J1Q/ThulGYrKZnI/AAAAAAAAAb8/pC0EBqg1Mns/s400/DSC_0334.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7bccnasHgGw/ThulSwsLhmI/AAAAAAAAAcA/KO-2a2YgPhQ/s1600/DSC_0337.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7bccnasHgGw/ThulSwsLhmI/AAAAAAAAAcA/KO-2a2YgPhQ/s400/DSC_0337.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
Now, my absolute <b>FAVORITE</b> thing about this style of pintucking is {it<br />
doesn't matter} It does not have to be a straight stitch...it's better if<br />
it's not. It doesn't have to be the same size or lined up perfectly... it's<br />
kinda like cooking dinner and not cleaning up the kitchen afterwards!!!<br />
Oh.Yeah. : ) </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
So Once you are done you should have a piece that looks like<br />
this. </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Fibaix3KipM/ThuliUDJfsI/AAAAAAAAAcE/ZRsaBYmZuxw/s1600/DSC_0326.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Fibaix3KipM/ThuliUDJfsI/AAAAAAAAAcE/ZRsaBYmZuxw/s400/DSC_0326.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
4. Pin it centered on the right side of one of your squares you cut out<br />
earlier. You can either press under the edges or I just took my last "tuck"<br />
and then you sew it right on the front of your fabric! </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6WlH8uDZeqY/Thulxwa7H2I/AAAAAAAAAcI/1KQHhdFKkls/s1600/DSC_0327.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-2exjUN5aDZ8/ThumQrgdVZI/AAAAAAAAAcQ/mrwPYV9b-6o/s1600/DSC_0329.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="

<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
5. Next just assemble your pillow. Put the right sides of both squares<br />
together (pintucking on the inside) sew three of the edges together, and on<br />
the fourth side sew in a few inches (make sure and backstitch here) from<br />
each corner leaving a gap in the middle, clip the corners, turn right side<br />
out, insert pillow, and the slip stitch the hole closed </div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif; text-align: center;">
You are done! Isn't it beautiful? I hope if you make some you will send me<br />
your pictures! I can't wait to make these in some fun colors! </div>

Welcome Trish and Bonnie from<a href="http://www.uncommondesignsonline.com/"> Uncommon</a>! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is such a genius and awesome wreath! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can't wait to make one!</div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<center><a href="http://www.uncommondesignsonline.com/"><img border="0" src="http://i1140.photobucket.com/albums/n575/beuncommon/UncommonAvatar.jpg" /></a></center><br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ff6600;"></span><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520099985323395602" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_8k3EU3usb_I/TJtVsJ3XChI/AAAAAAAAAjM/ExLgKb46b5M/s400/September+2010+003.jpg" style="display: block; height: 400px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; margin-top: 0px; text-align: center; width: 296px;" /><br />
<strong><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: black;">Supplies Needed:</span> </span></strong><br />
<strong><span style="color: #ff6600;"></span></strong><br />
16" Wire Wreath Form<br />
1 Black Feather Boa (the thicker one, not the skinny guy)<br />
Black Pipe Cleaners<br />
3 mini pumpkins w/ pick attached<br />
ribbon for bow<br />
<br />
Ok everyone, as the post was titled this is a mini tutorial (aka... I didn't take pictures as I went along, but I'll tell you how I did it).<br />
<span style="color: #ff6600;">First,</span> you will start attaching the boa to the wreath form. Just lay it on top and secure it with the pipe cleaners to the wire in the back . Keep going around until the entire form is covered. Clip off any excess that is hanging down.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ff6600;">Second,</span> attach the pumpkins slightly offset in the lower right portion of the wreath. These pumpkin picks were purchased from Hobby Lobby in the seasonal department. I love the metallic sheen on them and the proportion is perfect for the size of the wreath.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #ff6600;">Third,</span> dress it up a little with ribbon that hangs down. I used black tulle, spider web ribbon, and then I curled some sheer glittery black 2 1/2" wide ribbon.<br />
<br />
Now you have a simple and elegant wreath! <em><strong>Enjoy!</strong></em><br />
<em><strong><br /></strong></em><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Hi there! My name is Holly and I blog over at <a href="http://www.littlebitoflifephotography.blogspot.com/">Little Bit of Life</a>. I am so excited that Kelly is letting me share a fun project with y'all today! We actually did made these shirts a while back and I see them in the laundry almost every week! My kids love them that much! I hope you will also!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thank you again, Kelly and happy crafting to you all!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-a069d3UPgX0/TXWlzW4jt9I/AAAAAAAAATU/t8b6yweIdyQ/s1600/blogpics+093.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213px" q6="true" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-a069d3UPgX0/TXWlzW4jt9I/AAAAAAAAATU/t8b6yweIdyQ/s320/blogpics+093.jpg" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Last night Kristen and I headed over to a friends house to make tshirts for a concert we are all going to on Sunday night. By the way, I am super excited about the concert! I didn't bring a camera.....I know....GASP! Another friend who is also going needs to know how we made these so I thought I would share with you all! Now go run and grab a white cotton t shirt, some rubbing alchohol in a spray bottle, some Sharpies, plastic containers and rubber bands! I'll wait........</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-YPxNEdcgivM/TXWl1QU-lsI/AAAAAAAAATY/kdNJltdPHXo/s1600/blogpics+094.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" q6="true" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-YPxNEdcgivM/TXWl1QU-lsI/AAAAAAAAATY/kdNJltdPHXo/s320/blogpics+094.jpg" width="213px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We had a lot of Sharpies to work with :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zfzvuKolCoI/TXWl3_QemSI/AAAAAAAAATc/aAIAzOT4QEY/s1600/blogpics+096.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320px" q6="true" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zfzvuKolCoI/TXWl3_QemSI/AAAAAAAAATc/aAIAzOT4QEY/s320/blogpics+096.jpg" width="213px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These are just some of the designs I did on my shirt. The big rainbowish circle started out as rings with a small heart in the center. Im telling ya'll this is easy!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ZzEtmVFpSMI/TXWl58cscFI/AAAAAAAAATg/qZvHnB0U718/s1600/blogpics+101.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213px" q6="true" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-ZzEtmVFpSMI/TXWl58cscFI/AAAAAAAAATg/qZvHnB0U718/s320/blogpics+101.jpg" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We are going to the Winter Jam concert...hence the WJ ;)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ZiHrML6xmB8/TXWl8VHnmDI/AAAAAAAAATk/L70crghdFiQ/s1600/blogpics+102.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213px" q6="true" src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-ZiHrML6xmB8/TXWl8VHnmDI/AAAAAAAAATk/L70crghdFiQ/s320/blogpics+102.jpg" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zq5sgq4SYN8/TXWl_MhTWlI/AAAAAAAAATo/xi6hbSP47IU/s1600/blogpics+100.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213px" q6="true" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-zq5sgq4SYN8/TXWl_MhTWlI/AAAAAAAAATo/xi6hbSP47IU/s320/blogpics+100.jpg" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kTK3ovxgrpI/TXWmCHvWdDI/AAAAAAAAATs/TRn1iT0_LOc/s1600/blogpics+097.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213px" q6="true" src="https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kTK3ovxgrpI/TXWmCHvWdDI/AAAAAAAAATs/TRn1iT0_LOc/s320/blogpics+097.jpg" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Okay so here are the important photos. They somehow got to the bottom of the post. I took a container and stretched the area of the shirt over it with a rubber band and added my design. I then sprayed it with the alchohol. Sharpies react to the alchohol causing the tye dye effect! Viola! The more alchohol the more blurry your drawing will get so if you don't want your words completely blurred spray lightly!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8-iSB00LCk4/TXWmEvD_qcI/AAAAAAAAATw/lqczF0Z-VIA/s1600/blogpics+098.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213px" q6="true" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8-iSB00LCk4/TXWmEvD_qcI/AAAAAAAAATw/lqczF0Z-VIA/s320/blogpics+098.jpg" width="320px" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I am going to be doing this project with the other kids tomorrow so I will show ya'll what they came up with then!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">As for washing these, I have read several methods online but I am still testing it on scrap t shirts!</div>Kelly @ Run With Glitterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05198350508349198276noreply@blogger.com
