Food Friday-Not Grandma's Pot Pie

This is one of the Glitter family favorites! It tastes just like the labor intense chicken pot pies I grew up eating at my Grandma's but, this my friend is just a few simple ingredients and Y-U-M-M-Y! I lack culinary skills but this is so good and simple no one would ever know!
{This is also great to take as a "help me out" meal to friends and family.}

Ingredients:
1 pound of cooked and cubed chicken or turkey breast {I boil mine with some chicken bullion cubes}
1/2 can of diced new potatoes, drained
1 12oz bag of Steam Fresh mixed veggies, drained

  • 2 deep dish frozen or refrigerated pie crusts, thawed
  • 1  can condensed cream of chicken soup

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    2. In a bowl combine the mixed vegetables, chicken, and cream of chicken. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to your taste. Cook bottom crust in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Pour mixture into the pre cooked bottom pie crust. Turn the other crust over and pop out of the tin onto the top of the filled pie. Seal the edges with a fork {If your top is sticking up to much gently press down} and poke a few holes in top crust. Brush a little milk on the top to help it with browning.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. ENJOY!!!

Fill with Filling :)

Place shell on Top and seal with a fork around the edges

Bake and ENJOY! DELISH!
{My crust cracked when I took it out of the oven.. It just gives it character... right}
